During 2006, the initial release of the software, affectionately known as the "Portal Lite" was retired. All schools are now driven by the powerful School Jobs Portal online job application software. So much more than just an applicant tracking system, you find the Portal where attraction, retention, and data collection meet.

The Portal is comprised of four separate entryways: applicants, administrators, references, and documents . Each are explained in more detail below.

Why has the Portal become so popular? Our districts explain it is the combination of responsible pricing and flexibility.

Applicant Portal - Collects district-selected information from applicants. Select from hundreds of questions across two dozen topics or create your own! (more)

Admin Portal - Enables the district to customize nearly every option from color of text and backgrounds to state-specific Highly Qualified standards. (more)

Reference Portal - Provides applicants with pre-formatted reference request letters and forms and can accept reference surveys online, triggering a "red flag" for negative responses. (more)

Document Portal - Provides facilities to upload files and attach them to a specific application. (more)

"We have designed a postcard that we use for recruiting. With everything online, we no longer send a printed packet with benefits, applications, etc. The cost savings pay for the Portal."
