| HOME | To paraphrase a thought from Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, "We are at a point where the challenge is not how to gather information, but how to spend your time on the information that is most important." The School Jobs Portal helps reduce paper document handling by attaching digital versions to an applicant's file. The Documents Portal accepts files created in Acrobat, Word, Excel, Works, WordPerfect, and most any other productivity software. You can also store pictures, scanned documents, movie clips, audio files, and so much more! Each applicant receives 2,000kb of storage, with half reserved for district use. |

Each file has individual permissions, restricting editing and deleting to the applicant or district, depending on who created the document. While district administrators can view all uploads, applicants have access only to those files created by the applicant. Documents are linked at several locations throughout the School Jobs Portal, including the application print/view screen, Admin Portal, Document Portal, and Applicant Portal.

A convenient search feature helps the user find the desired file on his or her computer. Add a title and brief description, then click the upload button. It is that easy. The Portal automatically calculates the file size, identifies whether created by an applicant or user, and notes the date the file was uploaded. Should you later need a hard copy of the file, click the "View File" (opens the native application) and print. |
